Professor Wei Zhang Visited the school
 

    Professor Wei Zhang visited Tianjin University and LIMB on July 16th, 2023 and gave a lecture on "Circular blue bioeconomy by design and marine bioindustry 3.0+". Professor Zhang shared Australia's experience in developing the marine economy from an international perspective. He introduced the mode of production, learning, research, capital and government cooperation, which integrates the joint laboratories of several domestic and international government departments, scientific research institutions and industry partners. Combining two vivid examples of biological refining of brown seaweed and lobster processing by-products, Professor Zhang Wei expounded in detail the design concept of circular marine Bioeconomy and the circular economy mode in the era of marine bioindustry 3.0+.
